Navigation • Adding A VehicleAdding a vehicle is a very simple process. Before you start though, you'll need to already have the photographs taken of the vehicle you wish to add. We'll assume you've followed the guidelines for preparing the vehicle and taking the photos then transferred them to your PC. Once you've completed the changes simply select another vehicle in the list. You'll be prompted to save the current one. Answer as appropriate. Note. This does NOT apply to vehicle descriptions. Please follow the instructions detailed there.
Set a Caption/Title for the vehicle
The caption for the vehicle is usually the year/make/model/type/ information specific to the item. How you format this is entirely up to yourself however we do recommend you keep all your captions in a consistant format for your visitors. Here is an example: -
Set The Price Of The Vehicle
Here you can set your asking price for the vehicle. You'll need to include the currency symbol. If you want, you can also set the price to something like "Sold" if that is appropriate for you.
Set the vehicle specificationThe vehicle specification is simply the description of the item with it's key points. You can include as much information as you see fit.
There is also some basic formatting options availably to you. Those are (from left to right): -
At the bottom left of the description editor you'll find the styles selection options.
To use the formatting options, simply select the text with the mouse that you wish to affect then press the appropriate button (or style). Once you've completed changes to the description you MUST press the
Set images for the vehicle
Press the button above. Note the number changes depending on the number of images currently assigned to the vehicle. Please go here for more information on managing images for your vehicles. |
